Help! i want to floss my cats teeth! how do i do it? is there special cat floss i need to buy?

You can just use regular floss. Please video tape and post on YouTube. This I got to see.

hmm...i have never heard of doing this and i dont know that it is a very good idea. if your cat has noticable debris, or whatever, in his teeth maybe that should be a job for the vet... you can watch and ask questions incase it needs done again. you dont want to hurt him!

Well I am not too sure about floss, but what I use for my dogs (also available for cats) is a liquid tart remover that you pour into there water. It gets rid of the stink and plaque. Hope I helped!

Reply:I don't think this is a good idea. Even if the cat would submit, you run the possibility of her swallowing a piece of the floss, and that can be a very serious thing.





Instead, buy your cat dry food and treats that are supposed to scrape the tartar off their teeth, and have their teeth cleaned by a vet whenever he says it's necessary. Taking care of a cat's teeth literally adds years to its life.
Reply:you can get cat tooth brushes and tooth paste. no flossing..
