Bring her to the vet as soon as possible. What she needs is a dental cleaning. Your vet would provide this service. She probably has dental disease and gingivitis. A dental cleaning would help save her other teeth. Also the bacteria that sits on her teeth in the plaque gets into the bloodstream and therefore goes down into her heart, kidneys, liver and lungs. During the dental cleaning they will clean all that harmful tartar and plaque off her teeth, remove any problem teeth, polish her teeth so that they are smooth. They most likely will also take dental x-rays to see how the roots are on the teeth. Cats and other animals rarely show signs of pain but they still do feel it. When they remove the bad teeth they will also give her antibiotics and pain meds. Goodluck!
Reply:all part of getting old take her to the vet as it might be hard foe her to chew her food
Reply:Normal
Reply:I no the feeling shes fine just take her for her check-ups.
Reply:Check her gums. If they are red and swollen she has gingivitus, which can be treated. It's very painful if left, and all her teeth will fall out.

All old dogs and cats lose their teeth, just make sure her food is easy to get down! If it's really loose, give it a little tug to see if it will come out. She may end up swallowing it, but this is unlikely to do her any harm if she does.
Reply:pluck it out with a pair of garden shears
Reply:My cat is 18 and she has hardly any teeth left I would ring your vet just to make sure
Reply:prepare for a major cat explosion
Reply:Oh for Gods sake, you people freak out over nothing. Either leave it alone, it will fall out, or just pull it out with your fingers. Then forget about it.
Reply:Take Her To The Vet
Reply:I'd take her to the vet as soon as reasonably possible as this could be painful for her but could also allow infection to get in
Reply:My cat is 11 years old, and he has the same problem. The tooth is hanging out over his lip (one of the canine teeth). My vet suggested having it removed because it could be become infected.

My cat had his teeth cleaned, and that is a good idea to do as well.
Reply:Hi our cat had that and hes only 6 the tooth fell out and that was that no more problems
Reply:My cat is about the same age maybe a bit older, and she had to go to the vets for some jabs and the vet found out she had a problem going on with her teeth that was probably a few months old and she had to have some dentist work done, but like your cat she wasn't distressed and her behaviour hadn't changed over the months she had had the problem. she went for regular check ups after and so far the problem hasn't returned.

I advise you to get your cat to a vet and see what they say.
