I have a cat and when he was chewing on my finger i noticed that his teeth were loose. like three for four together were loose in one big clump. is that normal? what should we do for the cat?

Do young cats teeth fall out?
After a few months the baby teeth fall out and are replaced by adult teeth.
Reply:cats lose there baby teeth just like us. no prob.
Reply:Yes, young cats do loose their baby teeth. I just went through this about 2 months ago with my 2 kittens. Anywhere between about 4 and 7 months old is about average. I panicked when i found the first ones. We just cleaned up any that we found on the floor and tried to not play too roughly...like tug-o-war kinda activities for a while. Good luck
Reply:you mean the lil ones in the middle yeah it's normal if you can save them with my cat not sure when they fell off or if they swallowed them
Reply:How old is the kitten?

It's completely normal for kittens' teeth to fall out. Usually you won't even know because they swallow them.

Hope this helps!

Reply:This happened to me but I called the vet freaked out. Luckily I have a friendly vet office because they were so nice and giggled and told me it was just baby teeth. Also said that was probably why he was chewing on everything in sight. Good Luck!
