Is there a humane way to blunt cats teeth just a little?

Please don't answer saying "train your cat" or "that horrible" as i am not on about filing them or giving him a brick to chew on!! George my wonderful Bengal is 1 and a half years, his is trained not to bite, but he still catches us mostly by accident with his incredably sharp teeth, i know you can get soft paws for cats claws, i was just wondering if there is anything that would wear the teeth just a little, or make them slightly less sharp in any way, by the way he is an indoor cat so does not need them sharp for defence!

Is there a humane way to blunt cats teeth just a little?
You can take him to the vet and file them down..

some dry food should help too...
Reply:No, there isn't any way to blunt cats teeth some people use acid (wih protection) but i will hurt! So I won't suggest it.
Reply:Your cat needs his teeth to eat. Making them less sharp would be inhumane. Keep your hands away from his mouth.
Reply:Ask your vet. I am sure the simple thought alone he/she might think you are not cut out to be a pet owner.

You may not want to hear that is horrible but its down right cruel and I can't even believe you ask such a thing.

I mean that would be like saying... your parents asking if there was a humane way of removing your tongue because you swear sometimes, Yes you're trained not to, but you still do it on occassion. Therefor that warrants having your tongue removed so you can no longer talk.

Is that OK?

No of course not, so why would it be ok to do something as equally cruel to your cat?
Reply:Training - spend some time with him - let him know it is unacceptable. Cats are smarter than you think - I work for a vet that treats any exotic pet that can fit through the front door. We do file rabbits and gerbals teeth and we have pulled monkey's teeth out - but in my 30 years of experience I have never heard of messing with a kitty's mouth like you want to. If it is a problem, you might talk to your veterinarian and he could remove the teeth - if it means him having a home ...
Reply:cwstufff... You are an idiot! Complaining about someone is bad... but you don't even know WHAT you're talking about. Yeah she keeps a tiger in her house yes that's what she means obviously!!! A Bengal is a breed of cat you ninny!

Sorry but I think it would be cruel to blunt her teeth. Also I don't think there is a way... if there is please don't do it... its like making your teeth blunt, she mightn't be able to eat as well so I would suggest no. but sorry!
Reply:I thought a Bengal is a tiger, not a house cat.

If I'm correct, what are you doing with a Bengal tiger in your home? Keeping one captive is inhumane enough
