If she's happy and your happy I don't see any problem. I glad to see your heart is so big that you gave her a home despite her limits. You are awesome.
Reply:Is there a medical reason that she needs to eat kibble? Cats, especially with only a few teeth are usually fed only canned. It contains all the nutrients that your cat needs. If it's a soft stool problem, stay away from fish and liver, feeding mostly turkey, chicken and beef on occasion. Swallowing the kibble whole is not the best for digestive comfort. I have raised cats on only canned food, they were healthy and lived long active lives. Good luck. I

It's wonderful that you took this cat into your home.
Reply:Cats that have zero teeth have no problem with dry kibble. Even cats who have all their teeth more often than not simply swallow most of the dry kibble and break apart actually fewer pieces than you might expect. Most dry kibble is not as hard as you might think. There are some semi-moist varieties that are quite soft if you are concerned. But if there are no problems with what you are feeding now, there is no reason to be concerned.

If you are mixing wet with dry, you cannot let it stand for more than an hour or so, or it will spoil.
Reply:most cats with all their teeth don't chew kibble. It is one of the reasons (just one) that it is a myth that dry food is good for a cat's dental health.

While I don't advocate feeding dry food (more on that in a bit) there is nothing wrong with her eating it that way.

However, I stopped feeding dry food a while ago when I did research on feline nutrition for my diabetic cat. More and more studies are showing that dry food isn't that nutritious, and people are starting to equate it to McDonald's food for humans. It works, but there is so much better.

http://www.catinfo.org is a site run by a vet. She explains it very well..
