Why did my cat die? he was only 1/2 year old. he wasn't hit and his teeth had gone through his tounge...?

we found him in front of the neighbors yard, dead. he wasn't hit and his teeth went through his tounge. we don't have enemy neighbors so i doubt he was poisoned. what could have been a possibility of how he died. i'm really sad about it. please someone answer.

He probably was hit, but just bumped, enough to do the tongue damage, and then made it far enough away from the road before dieing. Animals don't always die right away, it may take a moment, and the reflexes of flight are instant.

Reply:I am truly sorry about your cat. It is possible that he was hit by a vehicle, fell off of something and didn't land on his feet, or maybe sombody kicked him or hit him with something (some people are very mean and cruel to animals). I hope you eventually find out so you can at least know.
Reply:I also think your cat may have be hit by a car. It could be that there were some internal injuries that couldn't be seen on the outside.





So sorry for your loss. Pets are very special %26amp; losing them can be like losing a family member.
