My cat is a little over 1 year old and has lost his front teeth. How many times will adult teeth grow back ?

He already lost his baby teeth. When his teeth grew in they were very crooked.

like adult humans, when animals lose adult teeth, they do not grow back except very rarely. i'm sorry to say that , but it is true. i've had cats all my life and i have never known an adult cat to regrow teeth they lose, whether to fighting other cats, or due to lack of nutrition.
Reply:Usually animals are like humans, and only have one set of adult teeth.
Reply:He won't be getting any more teeth!! They get only 1 set of adult teeth.
Reply:only one set of teeth,sorry! :(

*hope your cat is ok!
Reply:Like a human, only one set of adult teeth per customer.
Reply:if he loses adult teeth they will not regrow. Just like humans, we get our baby teeth, we lose those and get our adult teeth, once we lose those that is it.

  1. My three year old Norwegian Forrest cat lost a tooth and it grew back in about 3 weeks. Can you explain this?
