My cat is 2 years old and her teeth are falling out? What do you think it is?

2 front teeth on the bottom and one front tooth on the top.

My cat is 2 years old and her teeth are falling out? What do you think it is?
Two years old is young for gum disease, but it does happen. You need to take her to the vet for an exam and a dental cleaning... now. (My Siamese needed his first dental at the age of 3, and he had to have a couple of extractions. He was on a dry food diet at the time.)

If you're feeding dry food, you may want to consider switching to a high-quality canned food. (Dry food is NOT "better for their teeth".)
Reply:I am not a veterinarian (not yet anyways) I have heard of cat's teeth falling out because of Kitty Lukimina, You need to see a vet asap! Other symptoms can be weight loss and being lethargic.
Reply:You should take her to the vet as soon as possible. That is definately not normal.
Reply:omfg... SHES GROWING UP YOU IMBACILE!!! DIDN'T YOUR TEETH FALL OUT?
Reply:Quite possibly gum disease. Take kitty to the vet and find out what the problem is. Does she have bad breath, too? What food have you been giving her? Feeding a cat on only tinned, wet stuff is not good for them - they need a hard kibble to crunch, raw chicken wings (NEVER give a cat or dog cooked bones), or such like so that they can keep their teeth healthy.
Reply:I am no expert on dental problems in cats. Have you tried to examine her gums and teeth? I know that could be hard to do with a cat! Normally the adults do not just start losing teeth.

I really would suggest a trip to her vet. It could be a gum disease or underlying medical cause. Her teeth should not be in too bad shape at age 2, especially if she has a dry food diet to help clean them. Has her breath odor changed that might indicate infection/gum disease??

Don't risk it. See a vet.
Reply:could be a variety of things - illness or advanced gum disease. take it to a vet if you haven't already - don't wait for it to lose more teeth.
Reply:feed it soft science diet food and see a vet asap
Reply:You're asking this online instead of going to the vet?
