My cat is 4 month old and she lost a number of his teeth in a fight. Will he regrow them? he doesn't seem to be in pain do I need to take him to the vet ? can this be infected?

Do cats regrow teeth?
Kittens do start losing their baby teeth when they are around 4 months old, and usually they have their full set of adult teeth by the time they are 6 months old. The first sign of this that many owners notice, is when their kitten suddenly starts chewing on wires or other tough items, and they do this to relieve the pain.

If your kitten is still eating well and isn't showing signs of discomfort, then I don't think you need worry, but if you have any concerns, give the vet a call and they should be able to set your mind at rest.
Reply:if they were baby teeth, otherwise no.i would have the cat checked.
Reply:Cats have two sets of teeth, baby teeth and adult teeth.

Once your kitten starts losing baby teeth they will be replace by adult teeth just like humans.

However if the teeth have broken off and some of the tooth remains, you will need to take the kitten to the vet.
Reply:At 4 months old she will probably still have her baby teeth so yes those will be replaced. If she's lost any of her adult teeth that may have come through, then no they won't regrow. If she's been in a fight you should take her to a vet though to make sure she's ok.
Reply:Yes, cats teeth need to stay strong and sharp. They will lose teeth and regrow them.
