Hey Do cats teeth fall out like normal humans?

Well my cats tooth fell out and she dose bite things alot but i think its growing back! Plz help

Reply:how old is your cat? if its still a kitten, then yes, its teeth will fall out and new ones come it, just like a baby's teeth





if its really old, you could possibly see some teeth loss, but they would not get new ones





other than that, healthy adult cats should not be losing any teeth, and if for any reason they do, they wont grow back
Reply:Well, I have had 2 cats since xmas 2006 and I did notice that they both did start losing their teeth around the same time. I did panic at first when I saw little teeth in the food bowl but they seemed fine and all the new, sharper adult teeth grew in with no problems. Try not to worry, your cat should be fine.
Reply:if its around 5 months old, this is perfectly normal. She lost her baby teeth and is growing her adult teeth. If she is over a year old, consult a vet.
