You should be just fine, esp if there was no blood it means the cat did not bite deeply and you couldn't have got bacteria inside. Cleaning with soap and/or hydrogen peroxide and putting some antibacterial on should be plenty. If in the next days it gets redder or that spot feels hot when you touch it, you can go to the doctor for some other antibiotics, but that is very unlikely you would need that.

It sounds like maybe it's scary for you in general being home alone. I would talk to your dad and mom about that- - we grownups forget what it's like to be a kid, and maybe you're very grown up in some other ways so they didn't think you would be anxious. But if you tell them your feelings, then maybe they can arrange it that you could stay with someone else like a neighbor, relative or friend after school until your dad gets home from work, or your mom gets back from where she went?
Reply:I would suggest that you keep an eye on the spot where you were bitten.

If you think it could be infected, I would suggest that you visit a doctor, just to be sure.

Good luck and I hope I helped you!
Reply:should be just fine. If it gets hot and red go to the doctors.
Reply:If you are really concerned, and you don't know whose cat it is, or if it is current on vaccinations, go to your doctor.
Reply:You will be fine. I get bitten and scratched by cats all the time. If they draw blood then some times I can get a very, very minor inflammation. It was proberly following you because it wanted to say hello.
Reply:If the skin wasn't broken I'm sure you'll be all right. Just keep it clean and keep a close eye on it; if it starts hurting or turning red, call the doctor.
Reply:You should be fine. my cat plays around by scratching me with her claws and her teeth. Nothing has ever happened. But just keep an eye on it, and if you notice anything different or odd, see a doctor and see if they can help you out.
Reply:Stop freaking....if no skin was broken or blood shed, you have no problem.....especially since you cleaned the area well with antibacterial solution.
