Cats teeth?
You can see a healthy cat's teeth. 12 years ago I took in a stray cat. All her back teeth were gone. Now she has only one tooth left. Since she stays inside all the time, it's not a big problem.

You should have a stray cat checked by a vet. They can have all sorts of problems. Mine didn't and I love her to pieces.
Reply:cats have teeth. you can see them. cats that get hurt or eat a lot of rotting food might lose their teeth, in which case cats might have no teeth. take the thing to a vet's office if you plan to keep it as a pet, and the vet will tell you if it's old, young, sick, well, blind, or whatever. Plus, stray cats may not be up to date with their shots, and that means the toothless buggerel might give you rabies. peace!
Reply:I can see Cat teeth. I take the thumb and pointing finger, one each side of nose at the mouth, grasp and pull the Skin up to see. If her teeth badly worn or gone, possibility she getting old. Just love her and feed her well so she can live a happy life.
Reply:You should be able to see them. Here's a diagram: http://www.valleyvet.co.uk/images/catden... The cat is probably much older than you thought, or else has had a lot of very serious dental problems.
Reply:strays can have been through a multitude of problems. look at the teeth that she does have. are they discolored? is there plaque build up? no telling what she's been through. teeth are a good sign of how old the cat is, but if she's missing some, look for other factors. playfullness, agility. socialization etc. it's possible she's just had a hard life. but if the teeth she does have look bad , she's either had a very hard life or been on a very poor diet.
Reply:Go to Google Images and put in "Cats front teeth". That will pull up some pictures. They are small. Might want to get your new cat to a vet and it is very kind of you to adopt the cat.
